Spunbonding Nonwoven

The ever-increasing number of applications for nonwovens ensures a growing market share. Reifenhäuser spinbonding and Melt Blown lines give a guarantee for high-quality products even in the future. Nonwovens are products accompanying us from our childhood through all walks of life. Disposable diapers are made of nonwoven material just like the protective medical garments; but the growing area of applications also includes upholstery and wadding as well as uses in the building sector and in agriculture.

Nonwovens are textile-like fabrics made of continuous filaments by random collection and bonding. They are capable of straightforward further processing, e. g. they can be welded, sewn and printed and are abrasion resistant. Melt Blown lines are designed for the production of nonwovens from microfilaments in a single operation directly from the pellet or powder stage of the raw material. The multitude of versatile nonwovens products is made by the REICOFIL process on Reifenhäuser spinbonding lines.

Melt Blown and spinbonding systems are installed as separate production lines but can also be supplied as combination lines for the production of multilayer nonwovens.
