was formed in 1985 by Dieter Frei and Gerhard Arlt, both of
whom had previous expertise in the corona treatment market.
Through constant development and the takeover of two other
corona treatment companies, AFS has gradually won the reputation
of being a market leader in it´s field. Dimitron was
bought out in 1988, and KR Oberflächentechnik in 1991.
KR had many years of proven experience in corona treatment
system and perforation machine manufacture, and many of their
expert employees were taken on by AFS. AFS
now dominates the world market in many specialised areas,
and is backed up by daughter companies and representatives
in over 30 countries. AFS also has a manufacturing plant
in Brazil. We have a reputation for manufacturing extremely
efficient and reliable equipment, and for offering a second-to-none
worldwide after-sales service.
