molding.

Polyvin®
- Flexible Thermoplastic PVC Compounds.
These unique compounds are available in several injection
molding grades and are custom formulated to meet the specifications
of challenging applications. Properties include excellent
weatherability and good economics with increased productivity
through consistent viscosity control.
Sunfrost®
- Low-gloss PVC Thermoplastic Elastomers.
These specialty injection molding compounds yield a flexible,
soft-touch product with dry tactile handhold, controlled
low-gloss and matte finish. They are available in custom
and automotive color matches. Typical applications include
interior automotive office furniture and consumer products.
Blow molding grades are also available.
Sunprene®
- PVC-based Thermoplastic Elastomers.
The Sunprene family is used successfully as high-performance,
economic replacements for rubber and other thermoplastic
elastomers in automotive, building and construction, wire
and cable, and heavy industrial applications. Benefits include:
excellent weatherability, consistency, ease of processing,
reduced friction grades, and numerous automotive approvals.
Processing applications include extrusion and calendering,
with specialty grades available for blow molding and injection
molding.

They are favored for their consistency, ease of processing
and outstanding weatherability. Vinika is frequently specified

Formion®
- Ionomer Compounds.
Formulated ionomers offer excellent toughness, abrasion
resistance, chemical resistance and outstanding weatherability.
Certain grades can be vacuum metallized without a primer.
These compounds offer polyolefin processability and ease
of coloring and are formulated to meet exacting specifications
in a wide array of applications and processes.
Polyflam®
- Flame-retardant Thermoplastic Compounds and Concentrates.
Polyflam products are UL-approved and can be custom designed
to your specifications. Polyflam is particularly useful
in the electronics, appliance, automotive and construction
industries.
Polypur®
- Reinforced and Alloyed Thermoplastic Polyurethanes.
These award-winning compounds are directly paintable and
offer low expansion and contraction properties. They lend
themselves well to the automotive industry. They exhibit
high flow, which facilitates molding into large, complex
parts that maintain their original strength in extreme temperatures.
Polypur compounds are impact resistant, abrasion resistant
and have high tensile strength.
Schulamid®
- Filled and Unfilled Nylon Compounds.
Available in reinforced and unreinforced grades, these compounds
can be impact modified and heat or light stabilized. They
have a low specific weight, high melting point, and excellent
impact strength with chemical and abrasion resistance. These
compounds are widely used in automotive, electrical, construction
and recreational applications.
