Kampf is part of the Jagenberg Group, which consists of three Divisions - Paper Technology, film & foil Equipment and Packaging Technology. The main effort of the Jagenberg group consists of service to the paper, packaging and food industries.

The activities of the Group are directed by Jagenberg AG in Duesseldorf, FRG, Jagenberg, in turn, is owned by Rheinmetal Berlin AG, the parent of the Rheinmetall Group, which employs approx. 14,000 people and has annual Sales exceeding 3 Billion DM.
